KRN Memorial Hospital work to begin Mar 5

Kottayam, Feb 27: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will pour the first concrete for the construction of the K R Narayanan Speciality Hospital at Uzhavoor on March five.

At a news conference here today (Feb 27, 2006), Revenue Minister K M Mani said the 150-bed speciality hospital was being constructed by upgrading the primary health centre at Uzhavoor.

Administrative sanction for the construction of buildings had been given. Finance Minister Vakkom Purushothaman, Health Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and other leaders would participate.

Revenue Minister K M Mani would preside over the function.

Mr Mani would inaugurate seven projects including road and bridge construction in Meenachil taluk on March two and four and other projects on March nine.
