Two suspected Maoists arrested in Orissa

Sambalpur, Feb 26 (UNI) Police today arrested two suspected Maoists from different parts of Orissa's Sambalpur district.

One of the arrested was a Gram Panchayat member whose vehicle was extensively used by the Maoists for their movement in the forest as well as to the suburbs of the district in recent days.

Last week, the Maoists were seen in freely moving in late night on National Highway number six demanding money from the small scale industries, contractors, and crusher owners.
