Rain or snow likely at Uttaranchal, J

Pune, Feb 26 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Rayalaseema and of interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and of Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and north Chattisgarh and were above normal in some parts of Orissa and of south Chattisgarh.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan and Lakshadweep.

Heavy rain have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Very light rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Punjab.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and at Andaman and nicobar islands.
