New judges to be sworn tomorrow

Ranchi, Feb 26 (UNI) Four newly appointed judges of Jharkhand High Court will be sworn in here tomorrow.

Justice S J Mukhopadhaya will administer the oath to D P Singh, Director, Judicial Academy, D G R Patnaik, District and Session's Judge, Koderma, R R Prasad, Register General, Jharkhand High Court, and D K Sinha, Register Vigilance, Jharkhand High Court.

At present, only five judges were there against the total strength of 11.

The lawyers of the high court had, earlier, restored to agitation demanding appointment of judges and filing up of vacant posts of judges.

The post of the Chief Justice was also vacant.
