Factional clash in Mon district

Kohima, Feb 26 (UNI) Heavy exchange of gun fire was reported at Namsa near Tizit of Mon district between the rival factions of NSCN yesterday.

NSCN(K) sources claimed that one rival NSCN(IM) cadre was killed and another injured.

However, the NSCN(IM) said two of its cadres were injured and no one had been killed.

The situation was under control, official sources said.
