'Dhoni Cut' mania hooks Jaipur youngsters

Jaipur, Feb 26 (UNI) Mahendra Singh Dhoni's batting has left the nation asking for more and the same goes for his hairstyle which has captured the imagination of youngsters here, who are willing to shell out as much as Rs 300 for the haircut.

''Dhoni's weird hairdo is a big hit. Everybody wants to look like the lad from Jharkhand. But it's difficult to give them the Dhoni look unless they have long hair,'' a hairstylist said.

''I think Dhoni's hairdo is classic. It's different from all others and makes him stand out. My girlfriend likes him mainly for his hair. That is why I have decided to get the Dhoni look,'' a Dhoni fan said.

But the 'Dhoni Cut' doesn't come cheap.

''Nothing less than Rs 200-300 if you have the right kind of hair. But I don't mind paying if I get the same look as Dhoni,'' says a college student.

Dhoni's recent batting form has added to his appeal making him more popular than other Indian cricketers. Even Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf was charmed by the swashbuckling wicketkeeper batsman's hairdo.

Clearly, Dhoni and his hairy tales have broken barriers and crossed boundaries.
