"Black" and Bachchans dominate Filmfare awards

Mumbai, Feb 25 (UNI) Sanjay Lila Bhansali's ''Black'' dominated the 51st Filmfare Awards tonight by bagging best film, best director, best actor and best actress awards.

The movie also walked away with four critics awards apart from three awards for cinematography (Navi K Chandra), editing (Bela Sehgal) and best background music (Monty Sharma).

''Black'' was adjudged as the best film while Sanjay Lila Bhansali as the best director and Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee got the awards for best actor and best actress redspectively for ''Black'' and also the best critics awards.

Shabani Aazmi was given the lifetime achievement award while Yash Chopra and his son Aditya Chopra were given the Power House Talent award which was started this year on the occasion of Filmfare Awards' 51 years.

Big B Amitabh Bachchan appeared first time in a public function after his recent illness and received the award for best actor as well as best actor (critics) award for his role in ''Black.''
