BJP to launch massive campaign against UPA govt
Hyderabad, Feb 26 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national President Dharmendra Pradhan today said the BJP would launch a massive campaign against the UPA government at the Centre for following 'anti-people' policies from March 20 to 26 at the national level.
Addressing the press here, Mr Dharmendra said the BJP and its outfits would participate in the massive campaign highlighting the unemployment problem, price hike of esential commodities and pursuing Muslim appeasement policies for vote bank politics.
Pointing out that the government had not allocated funds to the recently launched National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP), he demanded that sufficient allocations should be made in the general budget to be presented on February 28.
Allegeing that the UPA government had forgot the plights of urban poor and there was no particular scheme announced to eradicate urban poor and unemployment problem, Mr Dharmendra said the Congress had failed to implement the promises made during the elections and also renamed the National Food for Work (NFW) introduced by the previous NDA government as NREGP.
