Bahrain national detained for locking 6 Indians in freezer
Dubai, Feb 26 (UNI) A Bahraini man has been detained by the police after the allegation that he locked up six Indian labourers in a freezer truck.
An Indian embassy official said in Manama yesterday that the workers claimed that the man locked them up in the freezer truck for more than 24 hours.
The arrested national, who is also accused of beating up several workers, would be kept in detention for at least week while police carry out further investigation, Gulf Daily News reported.
The incidents reportedly occurred over a visa dispute.
