Sub Registrar, attender trapped by ACB

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) trapped Sub Registrar M Parvathi and her Attender M Laxmana Rao of Narsipatnam Town of Visakhapatnam district today in their office.

The attender received a bribe of Rs 1,000 on the direction of the Sub Registrar and delivered the documents pertaining to a property.

The chemical tests conducted on the left hand fingers of Laxmana Rao proved positive. The tainted currency notes were recovered from him.

Both the accused have been arrested. They will be produced before III Additional District Sessions Judge, Visakhapatnam, according to ACB release here.
