Rlys' stop passenger trains' halt at Navapur in view of bird flu

Ahmedabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Even as Navapur on Gujarat-Maharashtra border has been quarantined for a week as a precautionary measure, Western Railway stopped halts of four pairs of passenger trains at Navapur station with effect from today till further notice.

The four trains are - 113/114 Surat-Bhusawal passenger, 175/176 Surat-Bhusawal passenger, 177/178 Surat-Bhusawal passenger and 237/238 Surat-Nandurbar passenger, a release issued here said.

However, the railway have not stopped the halts of long-distance trains at Navapur, looking at the convenience of such passengers.

The trains which would halt at Navapur are - 8033/8034 Ahmedabad-Howrah Express, 9045/9046 Surat-Varanasi Tapti Ganga Express and 9047/9048 Surat-Bhagalpur Express.
