Rangasamy Govt should resign: BJP
Pondicherry, Feb 22(UNI) The Pondicherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today demanded the immediate resignation of the Rangasamy led Congress Government in the union territory.
Addressing a press conference, BJP Former State President A M Krishnamurty, MLA, claimed the government machinery had been paralysed for the last three months following strike by various sections of the government employees, including the ministerial staff and not even a single welfare scheme was being executed even though funds were allocated.
He said while all assistance was extended to the poor in the Chief Minister's Thattanchavady constituency, the Reddiyarpalayam constituency of the BJP was totally neglected.
Several of the people welfare schemes remained at the announcement stage, he said and asked the government to desist from presenting the interim budget.
