Kochi to host Indo-Arab conference on investment on Feb 27
Kochi, Feb 24 (UNI) Ambassadors of more than 12 Arab countries, including the Dean of Arab Diplomatic Corps, will participate in the Indo-Arab conference on investment opportunities in Kerala here on February 27.
Announcing this at a press conference yesterday, Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry president N Sreekumar said this would be the first time that Kochi will host so many ambassadors from the Arab countries.
The day-long conference will be organised by the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
Senior government officials, including Secretary, Non-Resident Keralite Affairs (NORKA), Jiji Thomson, and Director, Tourism, B Suman will make presentations on the problems of non-resident Keralites and the tourism potential of Kerala.
Presentations would also be made on the IT and industries sectors, he added.
