Haryana bans sale of UAE fertiliser

Chandigarh, Feb 22 (UNI) The Haryana Agriculture Department has disallowed the sale of 12 metric tonnes of NPK 13:40:13 fertiliser imported in Haryana from UAE by M/s Vardhman Fertiliser and Seeds Pvt Ltd, Pune.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that an intimation had been received by the state government from the Central government that the sample of 100 per cent water soluble NPK 13:40:13 fertiliser imported by M/s Vardhman Fertiliser and Seeds Pvt Ltd from UAE has been declared non-standard by the Regional Fertiliser Control Laboratory, Navi Mumbai with regard to total Nitrogen and Ammonical Nitrogen.
