Porbandar, Feb 23 (UNI) Pakistani marine security men nabbed five Indian fishermen along with their boat from the Arabian sea off Jakhau in Gujarat on Tuesday night, according to Joint Secretary of National Fish Forum (Gujarat) Manish Lodhari.

The fishermen were sailing in the boat 'Tamana' when the Pakistani marine security personnel captured them and took them to Pakistan.

As many as 280 fishing boats and 450 fishermen had been taken into custody by Pakistani authorities so far, Mr Lodhari said. He said the forum had requested the Central Government to secure their early release.

Meanwhile, the forum has decided to launch a 10-day agitation from March 1 to press for the release of the fishermen.
