Court calls for production of evidence against MP Sadhu Yadav

Patna, Feb 24 (UNI) Special Vigilance Judge Ram Nivas Prasad today directed the State Vigilance investigation bureau to produce the evidence collected against RJD MP Anirudh Prasad Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav in connection with multi-crore rupee flood relief scam of Bihar.

Hearing the anticipatry bail petition of Mr Yadav, the judge asked the bureau investigating the case to submit a memorandum of all evidences against the MP.

The matter would be heard on February 25.

The case relates to misappropriation of government funds, amounting to Rs 13 crore, meant for distribution of relief materials among the flood victims of North Bihar in 2004.

According to the charges, the complicity of Mr Yadav in the case was detected during the investigation.
