It’s raining stones in Kashmir: Clashes between students, jawans continue
On Monday, streets of Kashmir saw violent clashes between students and security personnel, once again.
On Monday, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti were taking stock of the violent situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the national capital, clashes broke out between students and security personnel with renewed vigour on the streets of Kashmir.
In fact, on Monday, colleges re-opened in the Valley after a week. The students did not attend their classes, rather they were seen shouting slogans and pelting stones on security personnel on the streets. Fresh clashes erupted as students staged protests against alleged high-handedness by security forces at Pulwama Degree College recently.
