New Delhi, Feb 24: In her Railway Budget 2010-11 presentation before the parliament, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Wednesday, Feb 24, 10 more railway stations will be converted to world class stations.
The stations are Ambala Cantt., Bholpur, Ernakulum, Gorakhpur, Jammu, Jhansi, Kharagpur, Kota, Surat and Thane.
Keeping in view the continued focus to enhance passenger comforts, facilities, ambience and aesthetics Ms. Banerjee said the following 94 stations have been further declared as Adarsh Stations (model stations):
