Narendra Jadhav submits report on farmers' suicide
Mumbai, Jul 30 (UNI) Noted economist and Pune University Vice-Chancellor Narendra Jadhav today submitted his report on farmers' suicide in Vidharbha region of Maharashtra.
The state government had appointed Mr Jadhav to study the causes of increasing number of farmers' suicide in the region, and suggest measures to prevent the problem.
Mr Jadhav, who met Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil this afternoon, however, declined to reveal details of the report.
