BJP MLC appointed to Kannada Development Authority

Bangalore, Jun 10 (UNI) The Karnataka Government today appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Council member Mukyamantri Chandru as Kannada Development Authority Chairman.

According to a release here, Mr Chandru, who will have a status of Cabinet Minister replaces Mr Siddalingaiah who was appointed as the Kannada Book Authority Chairman with Minister of State rank.
