Music of Salman's debut Hollywood film 'Marigold' premiered

New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) The countdown has begun for the release of teenage heartthrob Salman Khan's debut Hollywood venture 'Marigold' with the music of the much-awaited film premiering on the radio channel Big 92.7 FM last evening.

The songs of the music album of 'Marigold', which features Hollywood actor Ali Larter opposite the Bollywood heartthrob, were premiered on the nationwide radio channel's Breakfast show - 'the BIG Chai', with RJ Ayush mann, the Radio Channel said.

BIG 92.7 FM, a radio station with 23 stations across the country, announced its exclusive Radio partnership with BIG Music for 'Marigold' directed by Willard Carroll.

Under the partnership, the playout of the entire music album of the movie, which marks Salman Khan's debut in Hollywood, will be exclusive to stations of the radio channel across the country, with only one song released to other radio stations.

Accordingly, songs of 'Marigold' would be played on the channel's stations across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Baroda, Bhopal, Panaji, Jhansi, Jalandhar, Hissar, Bareily, Aligarh, Bikaner, Srinagar, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kanpur, Rajkot and Asansol.

A special feature of the music of 'Marigold', which has Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as its music directors, is that its songs are in English and Hindi with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and Shari Watson.

The songs of the movie have been sung by Shaan and Shankar Mahadevan.

As part of its partnership with BIG music, BIG 92.7 FM has also lined up interviews and celeb bytes from the cast and crew of 'Marigold'.

As part of the promotion of the film's music, the radio network will organise a hunt for 'Anokhe Love stories' - wherein biggest love stories sent via SMS will be profiled on its shortcode 5454.

Listeners will also get the opportunity to deliver their favourite Hindi dialogues in English, marking the celebration of the film.

'Marigold - an adventure in India' is about a young American woman who goes to India and finds her life transformed by the experiences she comes across in the country.

Written and directed by Willard Carroll, 'Marigold', which also stars Nanadana Sen in a key role along with Suchitra Pillai, Helen, Vikas Bhalla and Gulshan Grover apart from numerous other actors from the West, is slated for release all over the world on August 3.
