Actor Sridhar passes away

Hyderabad, JulY 11 (UNI) Veteran Telugu film actor Sridhar today passed away in a corporate hospital here while undergoing treatment.

The 68-year-old actor is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Sridhar had acted in more than 150 films. He entered the Telugu film industry with 'Mutyalamuggu,' which was a box office success.

Some of his other hits were ''Karunamayudu'', ''Mugguru Ammailu'', ''Santanam'', ''Adavi Ramudu'', ''Eenadu'', Driver Ramudu'' and ''Bommarillu''. He had also played character roles in several films.

Movie Artistes Association (MAA) President Nagu Babu said Sridhar had contributed a lot to the Telugu film industry. He extended condolences to the bereaved family of the actor.
