The Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Temple in Sarangpur is a revered Hindu temple. It was established by Gopalanand Swami, a prominent figure in the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. The temple is known for its powerful idol of Hanuman, which is believed to have come alive when touched by Gopalanand Swami.
Renovations have been carried out multiple times by the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. In 1899, Shastriji Maharaj was appointed to oversee the temple's affairs. He renovated the temple, constructed an adjacent bungalow, and expanded the complex. These efforts significantly contributed to the temple's current form.
Adjacent to the main temple is a mandir dedicated to Swaminarayan. This mandir houses sacred relics associated with Swaminarayan's life and teachings. It serves as a place of reverence and reflection for devotees, offering insights into Swaminarayan's legacy.
On 6 April 2023, a 54-feet tall statue of Hanuman was unveiled by Indian home minister Amit Shah. The statue, made of metals and weighing 30,000 kg, cost ₹11 crore (₹110 million) and is visible from 7 km away.
