A new Kashmere Gate Foot Over Bridge project is moving ahead in Delhi, with a focus on safer road crossing near Ladakh Buddha Vihar on the Outer Ring Road. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta laid the foundation stone on Thursday for the bridge, which is estimated to cost about Rs 3 crore and had been demanded locally for years.

Officials stated that the planned Kashmere Gate Foot Over Bridge will support pedestrian safety and comfort together. The structure will draw from Ladakhi architecture, include modern construction methods and offer lifts.
