CM Yogi Warns Rohingya and Illegal Migrants, Says State Will Be Cleared and Intruders Sent Back

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has again taken a hard line on Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators living in the state. An open letter shared on social media states that the Uttar Pradesh government will remove all illegal immigrants. CM Yogi has also asked residents to support police and administration with timely information.

The letter, addressed to people of the state under the title 'Yogi Ki Paati', links this action to development and order. CM Yogi writes that removing Rohingya and other illegal infiltrators is necessary to protect growth and peace. Security, social balance and a strong law-and-order system are listed as top government priorities.

According to CM Yogi, decisive steps have already started against illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi citizens staying in Uttar Pradesh. All urban local bodies have been directed to identify suspicious foreign nationals and prepare detailed lists. A special drive is checking documents of such people, and verified infiltrators will be shifted to detention centres.

The government has begun setting up these detention centres in every administrative division of the state. Officials have been told to complete identification and verification in a structured way. Data collected from local bodies, police and administration will guide action against infiltrators and support long-term monitoring of illegal immigration patterns inside Uttar Pradesh.

CM Yogi stance on Rohingya, Bangladeshi infiltrators and public role

In the letter, CM Yogi states that no person staying illegally in Uttar Pradesh will be allowed to continue. People have been urged to stay alert about unknown or doubtful identities in their neighbourhoods. Residents have been asked to share any suspicion at once with nearby police or administrative offices.

CM Yogi appealed that, before hiring anyone for household or commercial work, citizens should confirm identity details. According to CM Yogi, the safety of Uttar Pradesh is a shared duty for all residents, and a secure environment forms the base for development. Careful verification at the local level is seen as crucial support for official action.

The Chief Minister also referred to a Supreme Court observation, quoting, "A red carpet cannot be rolled out for infiltrators". CM Yogi said this showed that national resources belong to citizens, not to people entering illegally. The government is described as committed to ensuring that benefits of welfare schemes reach only genuine eligible beneficiaries.

Removing the extra load of illegal occupants from public resources has been presented as a policy need, not only a security issue.
