Team 'Modi'fication: Who is MoS Raosaheb Dadarao Danve?

New Delhi, May 28: Team Modi at the Centre has witnessed a landmark victory at the Lok Sabha elections this year. The Minister of States are no who's who, but are considered to have made a mark at the grass-root level.

Shri Raosaheb Dadarao Danve, being one of them, has been inducted into the Council of Ministers in the new government as the MoS, independent incharge of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.

Born on March 18, 1955, he represents the Jalna constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the BJP.

He was also a member of 13th, 14th and 15th Lok Sabha from Jalna and has been also an M.L.A. for two times. His son, Santosh Danve is also active in politics.

He was born to Shri Dada Rao Patil Danve and Smt Kesharabai Danve. Married to Nirmala Tai Danve, he has 1 son and 3 daughters.

He started as a Cooperative Sector Leader, then became the Sarpanch of Bhokardan. He first became an MLA in 1999 and is now a third-time MP.
