Iran Claims It Destroyed US Fighter Jets, Refuelling Aircraft In Jordan With Missiles And Drones


Tensions between Iran and the United States have intensified again as Tehran claims that it has destroyed several US Military aircraft stationed at a base in Jordan.

Believing the Iranian authorities, ballistic missiles and drone were used to attack that targeted US refuelling aircraft and fighter jets. Iran further claimed that several other military aircraft were damaged. However no official acceptance or rejection has been issued from the US Military.

Iran Says Attack Was Retaliation for US Strikes

Iran claimed that this attack was carried as a retaliation attack on overnight strikes on its territory. The Iranian officials claimed that the US Strike hit a children's cancer hospital in Ahvaz.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also issued a statement following the reported attack in Jordan. According to reports, the IRGC called on people in Jordan to target American interests in the country, accusing the US of aggression against Iran.

Iran Claims US Aircraft Destroyed in Jordan

Iran said that their attacking weapons- ballistic missiles and drones struck the base in Jordan where American military aircraft were stationed.

The US military has so far not issued an official response confirming or denying the reported losses.

US Bases Across Middle East Targeted

Iran has reportedly targeted several US Military facilities across the middle east since the latest conflict between Iran and US.
Whereas the US states that its attack on Iran aims at weakening their ability to launch a attack.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces were continuing operations against Iranian military capabilities and responding to attacks on commercial shipping.

Iran Issues Fresh Warning to Trump

Amid the tensions, Iran has issued a fresh warning to US President Donald Trump - saying that "he will not be safe anywhere." In the latest threat there was a hitlist issued that had Trump, Netanyahu and several other leaders who are in the Iran's target. Another warning was a billboard picture where Trump is pictured laying inside his coffin.

What Happened to the US-Iran Peace Deal?

The current attacks have raised concerns about the future of the peace agreement reportedly reached between the United States and Iran previous week. Despite the agreement, both sides have continued to accuse each other of carrying out military strikes.
