New Delhi, May 11: Head Police Constable Satish Chand, who initially was suspended, has been arrested now. Latest action against the police constable has been taken when the victim reached police station and filed legal complaint.
Delhi Home Minister, Satyendra Jain, said, "We shall look into the case, whatever needs to be done will be carried out."
The person, who recorded the entire incident on his mobile, was quoted as saying, "Lady told me that the cop stopped her and demanded Rs 200 as penalty as she crossed red light."
The man, who has been identified as Kamal Kant, also said, "When she refused to pay the penalty without receipt, traffic cop beat her."
Meanwhile, the victim claimed, "The man should be strictly punished so that everyone think twice before repeating such a thing."

Delhi Shocker: No bribe, police constable assaults, throws bricks at woman
A shocking video clip, which has been released by TV channels, disclosed a horrible face of Delhi Police. A police constable was seen assaulting a woman.
The police constable threw bricks at the woman who reportedly refused to pay bribe to the accused cop. The police constable has been identified as Head Constable Satish Chand.
The victim, who was seen throwing bricks at the constable's bike, was quoted as saying, "My kids were with me, I didn't give him (traffic police cop) money, that is why he thrashed me."
She also claimed, "He attacked me with a stone, I am hurt on my hand and back."
Meanwhile, Delhi Police Commissioner, BS Bassi said, "The head constable has already been suspended. I have ordered inquiry, criminal case has been registered in this case."
