Bahrain is under siege. Iran has escalated its retaliatory campaign following the recent strikes on Tehran, reportedly targeting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. And now… the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters in Manama has come under attack. At approximately February 28, multiple Iranian missiles and Shahed-136 drones targeted the Fifth Fleet base. Bahrain’s air defenses intercepted dozens, but some penetrated, causing plumes of smoke and explosions near the military site. Nearby residential towers were not spared. In Hoora, a Shahed drone reportedly struck the Era View Tower — a 37-floor luxury high-rise — igniting massive fires and sending thick black smoke across the skyline. Firefighters rushed to the scene as residents evacuated in panic.
