The Vigneshwara Temple, located in Ozar, Maharashtra, is one of the revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple was renovated by Chimaji Appa, the brother of Peshwa Baji Rao I, who adorned the temple spire with gold after a victorious battle. In 1967, further renovations were carried out by a devotee named Appa Shastri Joshi.
