The Barahi Deula temple was built in the first quarter of the 10th century A.D. during the Somavamsi dynasty. It is dedicated to Varahi, the Sakti of Varaha. The temple is east-facing and constructed with sandstone, measuring 15.84 m x 8.23 m x 8.40 m.
