Under the leadership of Chennoth Parambil Sri Dasa Prabhu, they sought assistance from Paliath Valiyachan of the Paliyam Swaroopam, who generously donated land for the temple's construction. With community contributions, the temple was completed, and the consecration took place on April 30, 1900. Over the years, the temple has undergone renovations, including a significant one in 1995 when the sanctum sanctorum was covered with copper plating.
