The Shri Kali Devi Temple in Patiala, Punjab, was built in 1936 by the Maharaja of Patiala. The Maharaja, Bhupinder Singh, was inspired to construct the temple and brought a six-foot-tall statue of Maa Kali from Bengal. The temple stands as a historical monument and attracts many devotees.
