The Shri Radha Vallabh Temple, located in Vrindavan, was built in 1585 A.D. by Sundardas Bhatnagar. He was a disciple of Shri Vanachandra, the son of Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu. Sundardas was employed by Abdul Rahim Khankhana, a prominent figure in Akbar's court. Through this connection, he secured royal permission and funds to use red sandstone for the temple's construction. This material was typically reserved for imperial buildings. Despite the temple's grandeur, a legend foretold that its builder would die within a year. Sadly, Sundardas passed away soon after completing the temple.
