The Radha Rani Temple is believed to have been established by King Vajranabh, Krishna's great-grandson, around 5000 years ago. The temple was in ruins until Narayan Bhatt, a disciple of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, rediscovered the icons. In 1675 AD, Raja Bir Singh Deo built a temple, and later, Narayan Bhatt, with Raja Todarmal's help, constructed the present structure.
