The Nartiang Durga Temple is a 600-year-old temple located in the West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya. It is believed that Devi's left thigh fell here, making it a Shakti Peetha. The temple was established by King Dhan Manik after a divine vision. The strategic location and presence of weapons suggest it was part of a fort.
