Golu Devata is a revered deity in the Kumaoni community of Uttarakhand, India. He is believed to be an incarnation of Gaur Bhairav, a form of Shiva. Historically, he is considered the son of King Jhal Rai and Kalinka, and served as a general under the Katyuri king. His origin is linked to Champawat, and he is worshipped as a god of justice.
