The Chandika Devi Temple is believed to date back to the Pandavas period, though no documents confirm this. The temple houses stone idols of Chandika, Kalika, Mahishasuramardini, and Ganesha. It is located in a large rock cave. In 2002, the temple was renovated with a five-story building for devotees' convenience. A lift was added for senior citizens and the disabled. The temple is the Kuladevi of Juchandra village. Stones from the temple were used to build the Vasai Fort.
