The Appakkudathaan Perumal Temple, also known as Thirupper Nagar, is located in Koviladi, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams, revered in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham by the 12 Alvars. The temple is situated along the banks of the Cauvery River and is one of the five Pancharanga Kshetrams.
The temple has significant antiquity with contributions from the Medieval Cholas. It is built on an elevated structure and approached through 21 steps. The rajagopuram has three tiers, and the temple has a precinct around the sanctum.
