The Adi moola Srinivasa Perumal Temple is believed to have been built by the Pallava dynasty in the 8th century. The temple has carvings and symbols similar to the Pallavas and Pandyas architecture. It is located at the foot of a mountain and is dedicated entirely to Vishnu.
