Alok Kumar Verma takes charge as Delhi Police commissioner, BS Bassi retires

Senior IPS officer Alok Kumar Verma took charge as the new commissioner of Delhi Police. Kumar succeeds B.S. Bassi, who was at loggerheads with the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi on a range of issues in the last one year.
