AAP declares scam accused Elvis Gomes as Goa CM candidate

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has declared Elvis Gomes as its chief ministerial candidate in Goa. Gomes joined the AAP in October this year, soon after retiring from government service. Elvis Gomes and former Congress MLA were booked by ACB in connection with a scam between 2007 and 2011, involving 30,000 square metres of land in Margao town.
