Lal Bagh is a famous botanical garden located in the south of Bangalore. The words 'Lal Bagh' mean the 'Red Garden' in English. The construction of the garden was initiated by the emperor Hyder Ali and later finished by his son Tipu Sultan.

Bull Temple or Dodd Basavana Gudi is located in N.R Colony, Basavanagudi in South Bangalore. Here the main deity is Hindu demi-God Nandi. Hindu mythology has it that Nandi is the close devotee and vehicle of Shiva. This temple, the largest of this deity in the world was built in 1537 by the local ruler of Vijayanagara Empire, Kempe Gowda.

Wonderla is an amusement park pioneered by V-Guard group located near Bidadi, 28 km from Bangalore, spread across 82 acres of land. It is a one-hour journey on the four lane Bangalore-Mysore Road. Wonderla features around 53 land and water rides. The park also consists of a musical water fountain, a laser show, a virtual reality show and a dance floor with electronically controlled showers.

The Government Museum in Bengaluru is the second oldest museum in South India. It is located at Kasturba Road in Bengaluru and is quite close to Cubbon Park. This archaeological museum has a huge collection like old jewellery, coins and inscriptions, sculptures, etc.

The Bangalore Aquarium is the second largest aquarium in India and is located on Kasturba Road, near Cubbon Park. Known for its vast display of aquatic life, the aquarium is inside an octagonal-shaped building. It is also interesting that the State Government Department of Fisheries tries to create a natural habitat for the fish in the aquarium.

Tipu Sultan Fort is also known as Bangalore Fort. Located near the City Market in Bengaluru, this fort was a summer retreat. This two-storied structure has carved arches, balconies and pillars. Built using Islamic architecture, you can find Islamic inscriptions on the structure.

Bengaluru Palace is located in the Palace Gardens which is in the heart of Bangalore city. This is located between Sadashivanagar and Jayamahal. The construction process of the building started in 1862 by Rev.Garett and was intended to look like Winsor Castle in England. It was later bought by Chamaraja Wodeyar, who was the ruler of Wodeyar Dynasty in 1884.

Thottikkallu Falls or TK Falls is a tourist destination in Bengaluru off Kanakkpura road. The waterfalls is also called Swarnamukhi, which means 'golden faced'. The best time to visit this place is after monsoon as there may not be much water during summers. Located only a few kilometres from the Art of Living Ashram, this is a good place for trekking and mountain hiking.
