Today at 6:04 PM, the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) achieved a successful soft landing. In a historic achievement, India has made history as the first country to successfully land the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the southern pole of the Moon. During the first stage of vertical descent, the Vikram lander approached the lunar surface, while the Lander Module (LM) remained suspended at a height of 150 meters above the lunar terrain.
