AAP joins students in protest against suspension of professor

Mum: AAP comes in support of students
Mumbai, Jan 8: Little did this professor know that speaking his heart out against the management of the college will draw so much of attention, including that of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

About 100 students from the University of Mumbai will be skipping class on Wednesday, Jan 8 protesting the suspension of professor Neeraj Hatekar. Hatekar had criticised the college management last month in a press conference.

After he went public with his opinion, he was suspended from the college. In his statement he rapped the university for its mismanagement and deterioration on the academic status.

Alongwith the students the AAP also joined the protest. AAP leader Mayank Gandhi said that the Vice Chancellor has violated every rule by suspending Neeraj Hatekar, which was not justified.
