OTP Delivery, Tracking Alerts and Business-Friendly Features Added
India Post has also packed the new service with several features designed to improve reliability and convenience for both individual and enterprise customers.
A key addition is OTP-based secure delivery, which will provide an extra verification layer when the parcel is handed over. Customers will also get end-to-end tracking with SMS alerts, allowing them to monitor the status of their shipment throughout transit.
For business users, the service will offer:
- Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options
- Free pickup for bulk shipments
- API integration
- Centralised billing systems
These features are expected to help enterprises manage regular parcel dispatches more efficiently and streamline logistics operations.

To boost confidence in the new premium service, the Department of Posts has also announced a money-back guarantee in case a parcel is not delivered within the promised timeline.
