Delhi: Not a negative BJP vote
New Delhi, Feb 10: With the Aam Admi Party (AAP) emerging as the clear winner in Delhi, the BJP would have some introspection to do. The BJP leadership says that it will look into this and would gear up for the elections in the future and particularly Bihar.
The BJP's National spokesperson, G V L Narasimha Rao tells oneindia that one must not consider this as a negative vote for the BJP. [Delhi Election 2015: Complete Coverage]

Not a negative vote:
Rao says that the Delhi voter has come and voted for AAP. It is a positive vote for them. I would however disagree is anybody says that it is a negative vote for the BJP.
This is not an election where the people came out and voted against the BJP. They came out and voted for the Aam Admi Party. One must remember this, Rao further pointed out.
Reasons unknown:
Rao says that the reasons behind this defeat is something that the party has not yet thought about. We would look into this and introspect.
There may be some reasons which we will look into, but it would be too early to comment on that now.
At the moment it looks likes Delhi has a clear winner in the Aam Admi Party. I would not be able to answer immediately as to what exactly went wrong for the BJP. All I would like to point out once again is that this is not a negative BJP vote.
