Look back at scams, deaths, quakes & major events of 2011

As Albert Einstein intelligently said, “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it." The same statement holds good to sum up the year 2011. From major scientific achievements to manmade tragedies; from world economies on a downslide to young billionaires emerging; from the Japanese tsunami wiping out a whole generation to terror attacks being carried out by sadistic individuals, the world had seen it all. The world just got a tad stranger in 2011.

India was no stranger to the melodrama played around in the world. The inhabitants of the world also contributed considerably to make the world a worse place to live. From terror outfits to leaders with vested interests, they utilized the raw human emotion to manipulate it and use them to their own advantage. Hopefully, with the birth of 2012, the world will be a better place to live.
