Coolie Lifetime Box Office Collection: How Much Did Rajinikanth Film Earn Across India?

The theatrical run for Rajinikanth's highly anticipated action-drama, Coolie, has concluded, culminating in a formidable financial performance across India. Despite receiving a mixed critical reception upon its release on August 14, the film demonstrated the superstar's enduring star power by attracting significant audiences and minting money at the box office.

Coolie Closing Collection At Box Office

The film's performance was particularly dominant in its home territory of Tamil Nadu, where it proved to be a major draw, raking in an impressive Rs 147.15 crore.

It also performed exceptionally well in the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, grossing a substantial Rs 69.83 crore. In Karnataka, the film added another Rs 44.93 crore to its tally, while in Kerala, it earned a respectable Rs 24.67 crore. The film's business in other parts of India contributed a further Rs 49.62 crore.

When all these figures are combined, Coolie achieved a massive gross collection of approximately Rs 336.2 crore from the Indian box office. After accounting for taxes and other deductions, the film's net collection in India stands at an estimated Rs 284.84 crore.

The film's success was not confined to domestic shores. Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and others, also resonated strongly with the international audience. The overseas markets contributed a robust Rs 179.7 crore, pushing the film's worldwide gross collection to an extraordinary total of approximately Rs 517 crore, cementing its status as a major commercial success.

Lokesh Kanagaraj-directorial is funded by Sun Pictures. It has Nagarjuna and Soubin Shahir in the negative roles. Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Aamir Khan, Rachita Ram and others are in the cast.

On the other hand, the movie had its digital release, last weekend.
