For today's update, the focus remains strictly on gold rates only, with IBJA rates listed first, followed by the latest retailer gold prices from major jewellery brands.

IBJA gold rates today (1 April 2026)

The India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA) rates remain the key benchmark for the domestic gold market. As per the latest available indicative retail selling rates:

• Fine Gold (999): Rs 15,090 per gram
• 22 KT Gold: Rs 13,833 per gram
• 20 KT Gold: Rs 12,575 per gram
• 18 KT Gold: Rs 11,318 per gram
• 14 KT Gold: Rs 8,803 per gram

These rates are exclusive of 3% GST and making charges.

Retail gold rates at major jewellers today

Here are the latest available 22K gold jewellery retail rates across major jewellery brands:

• Tanishq: Rs 13,670 per gram
• Kalyan Jewellers: Rs 13,705 per gram
• Malabar Gold & Diamonds: Rs 13,705 per gram

Gold rates remain elevated for buyers

Gold continues to trade at elevated levels in the domestic market, with IBJA's 22K benchmark at Rs 14,321 per gram and leading retailers quoting 22K jewellery rates between Rs 13,630 and Rs 13,725 per gram.

Buyers should note that retail jewellery rates may differ from IBJA benchmark rates because store pricing depends on brand-specific factors, design premiums and other retail considerations. Final purchase prices can also rise further once GST and making charges are added.
